Water Application

Water Application Components

Water conservation is a critical issue -- not only for producers, but for the industry. The right application components can help you conserve resources and increase yield.

Sprinkler Options

Maximize uniform delivery to the root zone and minimize runoff. We offer low, medium and high-pressure sprays and impact sprinkler to match your soil type and condition.

Pressure Regulators

We recommend pressure regulators for application uniformity on low pressure systems with variable terrain. Choose from a variety of pressure regulator packages.

Low Energy Precision Application (LEPA) is designed to counter the high cost of fuel and diminishing water supplies. This application method utilizes extremely low pressures (10 psi or less) putting water directly into crop furrows, reducing evaporation loss and increasing application efficiency.

Low pressure sprinkler bodies, include (left) D3000 and (right) LDN. Each is mounted with drop weights.

Booster Pumps

Add a booster pump to bring the operating pressure of the gun back into the optimum range when the system is set up with low pressure. This saves money on input costs and still gets the best performance from the end gun.

Reinke’s overhand design allows for booster pump location near the end gun which eliminates friction loss caused by small diameter supply hoses required on last tower mounts. This design maximizes pressure and efficiency to the end gun.

End guns can add profitable acres. The chart will aid in making the proper end gun selection.
